From biodiverse Hawaii and the tropical lush Caribbean to the remote corners of Patagonia and Alaska, Sam Carmack is a passionate and engaging naturalist. Her favorite subjects include marine mammals, ecology, geology, endemic flora and fauna, and citizen science. As a science storyteller, she uses humor and enthusiasm to take high-level scientific concepts and make them engaging and easy to understand. Her ultimate goal is connecting folks to the world around them in hopes that caring for our planet comes naturally.
